Greg Goodfliesh is former Vice President, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵX, the global business innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ). Greg is based both in Hong Kong and in California’s (U.S.) Silicon Valley, providing 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵX with local conduits to cutting-edge digital developments.
Prior to his current appointment, Greg served as Managing Director, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵX Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Asia Innovation team. Previously, he served concurrently as head of business development for 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Japan as well as the Global Financial Solutions lead for 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Asia Pacific region, and before then, as Director of Business Development for 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Australia, where he was an integral member of the team that enabled 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ to become the largest life reinsurer in Australia.
Before moving to Australia in 2004, Greg was a Vice President and Actuary in 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Global Financial Solutions unit, and was based in 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. He was responsible for the pricing, structuring, evaluation and monitoring of all asset-intensive transactions reinsured by 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. Prior to joining 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ in 1997, he was with American Express, where he was responsible for the pricing, cash flow testing, and asset liability management of several product lines.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
