Jean-Pierre Cormier is Senior Vice President and Chief Pricing Actuary for 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Life Reinsurance Company of Canada (91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Canada). In this role, he leads the pricing and research functions at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Canada and collaborates across the organization to bring innovative and effective reinsurance solutions to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s clients.
Jean-Pierre has nearly 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry in various pricing and corporate actuarial roles, including 13 years with direct carriers.
Jean-Pierre received his Bachelor of Actuarial Science (B.Sc.) from Laval University and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). Jean-Pierre continues to be involved in many industry committees, including those at the CIA.
